Interview with Sam Pelton

Q. Sam, tell us about who would be your perfect woman?

A.  Beth Goodall. She’s perfect. Next question?

Q. What do you do in your spare time?

A.  Fantasize about Beth.

Q. What do you do for fun?

A.  Rock climbing.  I like the combination of physical exertion and mental focus it requires...and hanging by your fingertips off a 500 ft. drop to the rock below is an adrenaline rush all its own.

Q.  Where did you grow up?

A.  I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, guess that’s why I returned to one too.  I like knowing what’s going on around me.

Q.  What got you into T-FLAC?

A. I didn’t come to T-FLAC, they came to me.  Picked me out after military service.

Q.  What kind of music do you listen to?

A.  Country music mostly. I like Trace Adkins - Rough and Ready.

Q. What’s your greatest fear?

A. Questions like this.

Q. What is your life motto?

A. You make your own luck.

Interview with Gabriel Edge

Q. Gabriel, tell us about what would be your perfect woman?

A.  “Isn’t one. I have no intention of ever getting deeply involved, let alone married. I lived a lifetime observing my parent’s impossible relationship. Love is one of the most destructive emotions between men and women.  I mean face it, it’s not like my brothers or I are like other guys.  We’ve got a Curse to contend with.  I’m keeping ‘relationships’ strictly physical and random.  And for the record, I don’t believe in true love or the b.s. about a Lifemate.”

Q. What do you do in your spare time?

A.  (laughs)  “What spare time.  I am the job.  There isn’t time for much else.  Frankly I don’t need much else.  I enjoying working hard and getting the bad guys.  That’s enough for me.”

Q. What do you do for fun?

A.  “I work out with swords.  Nothing like swinging a claymore for an hour or two to whip your ass.”

Q.  What is your relationship like with your brothers?

A.  “We’re close, but not too close.  I spent a lot of time being the father figure, which wasn’t easy on them since we’re so close in age.  But somebody had to step in, you know?”

Q.  When did you find out you had supernatural powers?

A. “Always had them. But that could change in a heart beat if this damned Curse were ever broken. Caleb, Duncan and I agreed years ago that the Curse will end with us. Frankly, I don’t care if it gets broken or not. Why not leave well enough alone?.

Q.  You live in a castle that you brought over from Scotland.  How do you like it?

A.  “Well, it can be a bit drafty, but it’s home.  The only annoying thing is MacPain-in-the-ass. The butler who has a frigging opinion on everything .He’s older than dirt and been around forever.”

Interview with Caleb Edge

Q. Caleb, tell us about what would be your perfect woman?

A. "I like all women, but I’m under this inconvenient Curse. So I’m not looking. But let’s say- hypothetically speaking- that I was keeping an eye open for this elusive Lifemate I’ve been told about- the woman I’d want wouldn’t be perfect at all. She’d be mouthy, sexy, untidy and funny. And having a great pair of. . .legs wouldn’t hurt.

Q. What do you do for fun?

A. Fun? You mean like shooting tangos?

Q. What is your relationship like with your brothers?

A. Solid. Nobody I’d want at my back more than Gabriel and Duncan.

Q. When did you find out you had supernatural powers?

A. I levitated my crib closer to the window when I was six weeks old. I don’t remember any further back than that.

Interview with Duncan Edge

Q. Duncan, who is your perfect woman?

A.  Even if I can never have her because of this damned Curse? No question who she is. Serena Brightman Campbell.

Q. What is your biggest personal goal?

A. Without a doubt, becoming Head of the Wizard Council

Q. What is your greatest fear?

A. It’s a toss up between losing Serena because I’m afraid I’m in love with her. Or losing my wizard powers, which is why I’m not eager to break the family Curse. We don’t know what breaking it will do to our powers. I’m damned if I do, and damned if I don’t.

Q. What is your power to call?

A. Fire

Q. What is Serena’s power to call?

A. Water. Which pretty much explains our entire steamy relationship. Opposites attract.
